Marina D’Ambroso obtained diplomas in Piano, Singing and Vocal chamber music. Her pianistic activities are largerly dedicated to Chamber music, with a particular emphasis on Lieder repertoire. She studied with Dalton Baldwin, Rudolf Jansen, Elly Ameling, Walter Berry, Erik Werba, Ernst Haefliger and Hans Hotter.
She obtained the “summa cum laude” diploma at the F. Schubert School of German Lied and Poetry in Baden bei Wien. She studied with Irwin Gage in the Lieder interpretation class at the Zurich Music Academy. She won the prize for the best accompanist in the Walter Gruner International Competition in London.
She has held concerts at important italian and foreign musical societies such as Milan Quartet Society, Genoa Gog, Amici della musica di Perugia e di Padova, Omaggio a Venezia, Bratislav Festival, Santander Musical Autumn, London City art Trust, La Biennale di Venezia and many others.
She collaborates with a number of singers among whom have been Lucia Valentini Terrani,Leo Nucci,Leonardo De Lisi,Nuccia Focile,Lorna Windsor. She has accompanied the courses held by Vera Rosza,Carlo Bergonzi, Lucia Valentini Terrani, Claudio Desderi, Lorenzo Regazzo. She has recorded music by Malipiero,Ullmann,Hartmann,Lili and Nadia Boulanger.
She teaches at the Padua Conservatory.
