It is necessary to possess an high school diploma or a foreign equivalent title. You need to have a specific technical preparation (instrumental, vocal, composition or of direction) and a general musical culture which must be appropriate for the educational aims of the specific course. A programme for the exam admission is arranged for every course in order to verify the teoric and practical skills, moreover there also some test about theory, solfège and melody. If a candidate doesn’t pass the admission exam he could attend the preparatory courses. There are no age limits for the admission. It is allowed to be enrolled both in the conservatory and in the university as the law 240/2010 and the D.M. of 28/09/2011.
ACADEMIC DIPLOMA OF SECOND LEVEL
It is necessary to possess a conservatory diploma of the traditional courses or an academic diploma of first level and an high school diploma for the same school or of an other one which is considered similar by the conservatory. It is allowed to possess a foreign equivalent title. You can be admitted even if you have a diploma earned in different schools or if you have a degree. In this case during the admission exam the candidate will be judged on the acquisition of skills and knowledges which must be equivalent to those ones needed for the achievement of the first level diploma. There are no age limits for the admission. It is allowed to be enrolled both in the conservatory and in the university as the law 240/2010 and the D.M. of 28/09/2011.
